CareHrs is a personal record of the hours you work. This policy explains what happens to the information you enter.
What stays on your device
The recipient names you type, the hours you enter and your settings are stored only on your own device. They are not sent to us or to anyone else.
What we collect
Nothing. The app has no account or sign-in. It has no advertising, no analytics, no tracking and no third-party software that collects data. We do not know who uses the app or what they enter.
Photos and notes
You can optionally add a photo and a private note for a recipient, and a note on a day. Photos are resized and kept only on your device. They are never uploaded. If you use the camera or photo library, iOS asks for your permission first.
Voice input
If you use voice input, the app asks your device for microphone and speech recognition permission, and listens only while you have tapped Dictate. Your device's speech recognition turns your voice into text. Depending on your device and the language you choose, that processing happens on the device or by Apple's speech service under Apple's privacy policy. The app keeps only the text it recognizes, never the audio, and we never receive either.
Reminders
If you turn on reminders, they are created on your device by the system. They are not sent over the internet.
What you can share
You choose when to create a PDF or a backup file. Your device then opens its share menu, and you decide where the file goes, for example Files, Mail or Messages. Those apps and services have their own privacy practices. A backup file contains the names and hours you entered, so keep it somewhere safe. If you save a backup into iCloud Drive, it is stored in your own iCloud account under Apple's terms. The app itself does not sync.
Deleting your information
Use Settings, then Erase all data, to remove everything from the app. Deleting the app also removes its data from your device. If you saved PDFs or backups elsewhere, delete those files separately. If you back up your device to iCloud or a computer, the app's data may be included in that backup under your own account's settings.
Not an official app or timesheet
CareHrs is not affiliated with or endorsed by any government agency, county or payroll system. It does not submit anything on your behalf.
Children
The app is intended for adults who track their work hours. It does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
